Other Characters on Passions

Maya Chinn played by Kyrie Maezumi
Maya is the beautiful and mysterious ex-girlfriend of Noah Bennett. Her mother is Sally Chinn, who owns Harmony’s infamous House of Noodles restaurant. Years ago, a violent and tragic event separated the college sweethearts. However, Maya recently resurfaced in Harmony with a hidden agenda. She still claims to be madly in love with Noah... but what is she really up to?

Beth Wallace played by Kelli McCarty

Born and raised in Harmony, Beth is the younger of Edna Wallace's two children. She has never known who her father is, she has only known a series of her mother's boyfriends throughout the years, some of which sexually molested the young girl. She was still fairly young when her mother met Mr. Wallace, owner of the local Book Café, and they all lived together as a family. Beth always believed that her mother had married him, and still refers to him as her step-father. Beth was friends with Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald since they were small children, and at one time, was a frequent guest at the Wallace home, helping Antonio and Luis with the younger ones. She and Luis eventually fell in love, and the two dated all through high-school. Shortly after graduation, Antonio left town, and Luis took over his role as head of the family. He and Beth were engaged to be married at the time, but Luis broke things off. He loved Beth too much to hurt her, and he was terrified that he would one day leave her the way his father left his mother.

A few years passed, during which Beth, who now managed the Book Café her step-father had sold to pay for her mother's medical bills, barely saw Luis, who was now a cop. Then he began coming into the Book Café on a regular basis, shortly after their high-school chum Hank returned to town. Luis and Beth picked up their relationship where they left off, but a few months later, Beth began to wonder about Luis and Sheridan Crane. Although she discussed with Hank what they could do to keep their significant others, she didn't have the heart to hurt Luis, and when she realized Luis was in love with Sheridan, she backed off, and wished them well. Luis was the only man she had ever loved, and would ever love, and she wanted him to be happy. When Sheridan was believed dead in the boat explosion, Beth was there for Luis, and slowly, the two fell back in love, and were engaged to be married. Then Sheridan came home.

Something in Beth seemed to snap after all those years. Probably extensive exposure to her mother, who recently appeared on the scene. Beth has to constantly defend herself to her mother, who blames her for something that happened when Beth was a teenager. Only hours after they were engaged to be married, Sheridan showed up in Harmony, and Luis came to Beth to tell her it was over...the woman he loved was back. While Beth outwardly wished Luis and Sheridan well, inside she was seething, and vowed revenge on Sheridan for taking away the man she loved. Knowing that Sheridan was pretending to still love Antonio, who was dying of a mystery disease, Beth played on the situation, all of them making Antonio think that Beth and Luis were together rather than Sheridan and Antonio. It went to the point where they ended up at the altar, all four of them. Antonio and Sheridan got married, but Mrs. Wallace had a heart attack just as Beth and Luis were ready to say their 'I do's.

By that point, Beth was beyond all redemption. She continued plotting to get Luis back, and slowly came to the realization that if Sheridan was dead, she could have Luis for herself. Beth was just as shocked as everyone else to learn that Sheridan was pregnant, and that the child could belong to either Antonio or Luis! Beth didn't let that stop her though. She paired up with Charlie (a woman who caught her stealing drugs from the hospital and originally was going to turn her in...until she met 'mother'), and the two hatched a plan to kidnap Sheridan. Knowing Charlie has a crush on her, Beth told Charlie that they would kidnap Sheridan's baby to raise together, but the reality is that she plans to raise that child with Luis.

After holding Sheridan captive for weeks in her basement, Beth presented Luis with a beautiful baby boy, while a frantic Sheridan had no idea what gender her child was. Beth and Charlie planned to do away with Sheridan, but unfortunately, Luis dived into the freezing water to save his brother's bride, and they got her back to the hospital. Beth is terrified that Luis will realize that little baby Martin is really Sheridan's son. When Gwen announced her plans to expose Beth, she couldn't risk it, and tried to kill Gwen. Her attempts were unsuccessful, but Gwen was soon worried about things other than Beth.

Beth continued to raise baby Marty as her own, trying desperately to get Luis to be a bigger part of their lives, but Luis was interested only in Sheridan. Numerous schemes to break Sheridan and Luis up ended miserably, with Luis moving further and further away from Beth and the baby. After Antonio died and Sheridna and Luis were free to be together publicly, Sheridan soon began insisting that Marty was her son. No one believed her at first, but it wasn't long before Luis was suspicious enough to demand a DNA test. No one was more shocked than Beth when the DNA test proved that Beth, and not Sheridan, was Marty's mother.

That was until Sheridan convinced Luis to have another DNA test done.  Sheridian asked her friend Dottie to run a DNA test.  That test proved that Sheridan and Beth were sisters. Therefore doing a more specific test proved that Marty was indeed Sheridans child.  Beth then got Marty and with the help of father Allister Crane, and fled the country.  To this day no one has found Beth or Marty.

Father Lonigan played by Bruce French
Father Lonigan is the priest at the local Catholic Church. He lost his sight many years earlier when the Church burned down, and he rushed in to save the statue of the little angel girl. He listens to the citizens of Harmony tell them their problems, but his hands are tied by the seal of the confessional, so he's had no choice but to keep the secrets told to him by Miguel, Theresa, and Kay.  He is currently in the hospital from the bruital beating by the mystery monk!

Valerie Davis played by Daphnee Duplaix Samuel
Valerie is smart, ambitious, beautiful – and willing to do anything to get to the top. As Chad’s assistant at Crane Industries, Valerie became his number one ally... and his lover. However, Chad’s continued obsession over Whitney left Val on the sidelines. Now Valerie has set her sights on climbing the corporate ladder with Fox and has teamed up with his mother, Ivy, to eliminate Fox’s girlfriend, Kay, from the equation.

Tabitha Lenox played by Juliet Mills
The citizens of Harmony think Tabitha is harmlessly eccentric, but in reality, she’s anything but harmless! Tabitha is really a witch who has been around for hundreds of years. As a member of the dark side, her goal is destroy goodness – and love! Over the centuries, Tabitha has made life miserable for many people in Harmony. However, Tabitha has two soft spots: one for her dearly-departed doll, Timmy and another for her precocious daughter, Endora. Endora inherited her mother’s witchly skills, but not her penchant for evil, much to Tabitha’s horror. Now Tabitha has to juggle between making the “boys in the basement” happy and keeping her do-gooder witchling in line.

Timmy (Lenox) played by Josh Ryan Evans

Timmy was created by Tabitha shortly after the show started. She used her powers to bring him to life from doll form, shortly before her powers were taken away. Even though soon lost her powers, Timmy never permanently reverted back to doll form -- he was able switch back and forth at will.

Timmy functioned as Tabitha's conscience on the show. His love for Tabitha was tempered only by his love for Charity, who he saw as pure and innocent. He hated what Tabitha and Hecuba were doing to Charity, but he knew that Hecuba and Tabitha could destroy him. His favorite hobby was making and drinking his martimmies.

Timmy became a real boy, his wish having been granted by the Angel Girl, and Tabitha began introducing him around as her great-grandnephew, Timmy Lenox. Soon he began a journey to find the Demon's Horn, so he could save Charity from Zombie Charity. With an unlikely ally (Julian Crane!), Timmy found the Demon's horn and brought it back to Harmony to save Charity.

Unfortunately, while Timmy was able to save Charity, he was not able to save himself. He lost his life in the battle with Zombie Charity, and his heart was donated to Charity so that she could live.

.  RIP Timmy.

Spike played by Christopher Maleki

Spike is the sleaziest of the sleaze in Harmony. Initially he ran Harmony's seediest after-hours nightclub, until it was burned down by Noah Bennett. Spike soon made himself indispensible to teenager Jessica Bennett, and became her lover. Once he had her hooked on drugs (and him), it wasn't long before he talked her into becoming a prostitute -- in part because he convinced her she should help him recreate what her family had destroyed. It was soon revealed that he was on Alistair Crane's payroll and had been hired to corrupt the youngest Bennett daughter.

Mrs. Wallace played by Kathleen Noone

Edna Wallace is the kind of mother that no child should have. Throughout her younger years, she was the 'friendliest' woman in town, sleeping with so many men, she has no idea who the father of her children are. She used to bring home her boyfriends, not caring that her daughter, Beth, became their victim. When Beth was still relatively young, she brought home Mr. Wallace (he owned the Book Café), and for many years, Beth thought of him as her father, and only learned long after his death that she and his mother weren't married after all.

Edna is very free with words for her daughter, abusing her both verbally and emotionally. Her primary goal in life is to rob Beth of any happiness she can possible receive, in part because she blames Beth for something that happened when Beth was just a teenager. Edna worked hard to expose Beth and Charlie's plans to kidnap Sheridan and raise her baby as their own while trying to get along with her orangutan caregiver Precious, but although she threatens to expose Beth, especially now that Sheridan has been returned home and Beth still has the baby, she has never done so.

Although she would not return him to his mother, Edna has arranged for some encounters between Sheridan and Martin, and encouraged Sheridan to spend time with the child she believed to be her son. She kept insisting that Sheridan belongs with her son, showing more concern for Sheridan than she ever did for her own daughter. She showed a remarkable streak of kindness toward Beth (her first ever) when she realized how much Beth truly did love that little boy and offered to help Beth escape Harmony with the child. Only moments later, though, DNA tests proclaimed Beth as Little Martin's mother. Later that night, Edna burst in on Alistair and Beth just as they were about to make love, and announced that Alistair was Beth's father from a one-night stand in the 1970s.

Reese Durkee played by Bruce Michael Hall
Reese is a geek with a big heart...and a big crush on Kay Bennett. He was thrilled when he found out she liked him. Only problem? It was a scam set up by her sister, Jessica. A series of misunderstandings has resulted in Kay and Reese actually becoming boyfriend and girlfriend! Their relationship has never really gone to the romantic stage...although Reese has tried on numerous occasions (most notably the hot tub at the ski lodge, where he wouldn't take no for an answer until the two were rudely interrupted), Kay rebuffed him at every opportunity. Reese most frequently turned up when trouble arose so that he could offer his intellectual expertise. Yet despite all his brains, he had no idea that Jessica Bennett is head over heels for him...until he found himself head over heels for her as well! Unfortunately, Kay's plan to break up Charity and Miguel ended up zinging Jessica and Reese instead, and the two of them broke-up. After a brief flirtation with Charity, Reese faded into the background.
